Welcome to Plate.
Our philosophy is simple: great food creates great experiences. We take pride in hearing from clients months and even years later that people are still talking about the food.
Plate specializes in bringing the care and attention to detail of a private chef to large-scale parties and weddings.
Led by Chef Mike Young, Plate draws from a wide well of inspiration. Mike grew up working in his family restaurant, spent his twenties cooking across the U.S. and Southeast Asia, including two years in Thailand, then returned to the states for four years in New Orleans studying under some of the top chefs in the industry.
Mike is proud to call Macon, Georgia home, and he helps people turn events into experiences they will not forget. We specialize in larger events, but it never hurts to reach out about the small stuff.
